High Moor

  • Mini Five Tors 1

  • A One-Day Circuital Walk. This walk takes in five of the most exciting Tors (Rowtor, Westmill Tor, Yes Tor, High Willy and Eastmill Tor), gradually getting more challenging as the day goes on. Imagine having a Cream Tea at 621 Meters above sea level.

  • Lydford to High Willy

  • Difficult approach to High Willhays from Dartmoor Inn, then descend to Yes Tor then onto West Tor finishing at Moorgate or behind Okehampton Camp.

  • Dartmoor Industry Walk

  • Starting and finishing at The Dartmoor Inn, our loop takes in some of the many Industrial activities found on Dartmoor, from mining at its earliest form - to tramlines that use to take the Iron for the Iron works of Lydford.

  • Letterboxing

  • Lettering boxing for beginners. Beware healthy but very addictive! Find out more.

  • Mini Five Tors 2

  • Another One-Day Circuital Walk. This walk takes in five of the more inaccessable Tors (Okehampton Tor….Hanging Stone hill…OP19). We will need very good weather.

  • Moor Gate to Belstone

  • Our name sake! During the summer children used to man this gate to earn a little summer pocket money. Very lucrative on a good day! Our walk takes us from this gate heading south and climbing up and into the Belstone high valley area. We climb up onto Belstone Tor and finish our walk descending into Belstone for some well earned refreshment.
