Terms and Conditions
References to "we" or "us" in the context of this documentation shall mean 'Moorgate the Dartmoor Experience'
(the trading name of I. & G. Jones).
We accept bookings subject to the following conditions:-
- A contract will exist between the client and 'Moorgate the Dartmoor Experience' when a completed booking form and a
deposit has been received and our confirmation has been sent. The deposit shall be deemed to be part
payment of the total cost and the balance shall become payable 6 weeks prior to the date for which the
booking is made.
- Cancellation by You.
- Effective from date we receive it in writing.
- Deposits non -refundable
- Refunds on balance 42 days or less before start of holiday
- 42 - 30 days before 75%;
- 29 - 14 days before 50%;
- 13 - 1 days before 25%;
- Failure to turn up on first day of holiday - no refund.
- In the unlikely event of us cancelling your holiday, or if an alternative offered to you is not
acceptable, we will return all Moneys paid in full or, if part of your holiday is cancelled, we will
refund the corresponding portion of Moneys paid. Upon tendering the same all our liability to the
client shall cease.
- To cover themselves and their personal property including luggage, Clients are advised to take out
their own private insurance. We accept no liability for any accidents or losses however caused unless
due to our proven negligence.
- Clients are advised that they must ensure that they are fit for the holiday and if in any doubt
whatsoever, to consult their medical practitioner.
- Bookings can only be accepted from persons under sixteen years of age when accompanied by an adult
who will be responsible for them.
- The entire contract between our client and us is contained in these conditions and the booking form.
No agent, servant or representative of 'Moorgate the Dartmoor Experience' has any right to alter or vary or waive any of these
conditions.
- The contract between 'Moorgate the Dartmoor Experience' and the client as contained in these conditions and the booking
form shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and for all purposes be
deemed to be an English contract. If the client has cause for complaint, the matter should be brought
to the attention of us at the time. Any legal action taken against us must be in the English courts.
- We comply with the E.E.C. Directive 1992 package travel regulations.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
